Abstract

This article discusses the results of community service with the theme "Localization of SDGs: The Role of Educational Institutions in Achieving the 2030 Target" carried out at SMP Negeri 44 Palembang. This program aims to increase students' awareness of the importance of clean living behavior as an effort to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in point 3 (Good Health and Welfare) and point 6 (Clean Water and Proper Sanitation). The methods used include socialization, training, and mentoring students in implementing clean living patterns, such as washing hands with soap, waste management, and maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment.  The program results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of clean living behavior, reflected in changes in their daily behavior. In addition, students' active involvement in this activity created a healthier and cleaner school environment. The main supporting factor for the success of this program was the collaboration between the school and the community service team. The challenges faced included limited sanitation facilities and the need for program continuity to maintain the results achieved in the long term.  Through clean living behavior education, educational institutions can contribute directly to achieving the 2030 SDGs targets. This article emphasizes the importance of educational institutions as agents of change in supporting sustainable development. Similar programs can be replicated in other schools to expand their positive impact.
